Lys Dai studied animation at l'école Estienne from 2021 to 2024. She co-directed The garden with Judith Dumez during their last year of school. In 2024, she won "Les Espoirs de l'animation", with Fin-tastic friendship a film co-directed with four other students from Estienne. They are currently working on developing a serie out of it and created the collective Vol-au-Vent with other young french animators to pursue this project.
